When I inherited the responsibility of managing SEO for Unipart Car Care Centre, they had recently been hit with a heavy penalty from Google, which had seen traffic drop to it’s lowest point since the site was launched.

After working with Google to undo the mistakes of the previous SEO regime, which mainly consisted of spamming, the UCCC site was fully reinstated, helping to restore traffic to pre-penalty levels.

With further onsite technical improvements as well as external marketing initiatives (such as getting the UCCC name onto industry-relevant sites like CarMagazine.co.uk), monthly organic traffic has quadrupled and is now at it’s highest ever point in the history of the website.
